Tailored plan
A different dose, interval or preparation, where there is a clinical reason.
Not suitable now
Your doctor explains why and what to do next.
Your doctor makes the final decision.
What your doctor can change
Standard treatment suits most people. A tailored plan lets your doctor change one of three things.
| What changes | Standard | Tailored |
|---|---|---|
| How much | The licensed steps, in order, no sooner than every four weeks. | A dose between the licensed steps, or below the lowest one. |
| How often | Once weekly, exactly as the licence describes. | A longer gap between doses, or a shorter one. |
| How it is prepared | From the pen as supplied, at the strengths it provides. | The same dose, measured a different way. |
Tailored plans are off-label and reviewed more often. What off-label means.
